The paper is created as the tendency of a group of authors, that with an integrative approach in the application of intelligent systems, by using analogy with some function in human body, to develop a model to improve organizational performance. The paper is based on two unique bases, of a representative number of data that reflect real business conditions and including a significant number of organizations. In order to achieve the set goals, several approaches were adopted, tools and methods, such as analytic hierarchy process (AHP) methodology, case base reasoning, artificial intelligence tools– expert systems, verification in real condition and other. As the key outcomes of the paper are obtained the fields that are critical to achieve the best organizational performance, and indicators for the development of expert systems whose functions, efficiency and effectiveness are verified in real conditions

The photocatalytic degradation of the synthetic textile dye CI Basic Yellow 28 (BY28) in water, using a recently synthesized P160 TiO2-based catalyst, under Osram ultra-vitalux (R) lamp (300 W) light, was studied. The effects of the operational parameters, such as initial concentration of catalyst, initial dye concentration and pH, were studied. The salt effect (NaCl, Na2CO3, Na2SO4 and NaNO3) was also investigated. It was found that the optimal concentration of catalyst is 2.0 g L-1. A pseudo first-order kinetic model was illustrated using the Langmuir-Hinshelwood mechanism and the adsorption equilibrium constant and the rate constant of the surface reaction were calculated (K-By = 6.126 L mg(-1) and k(C) = 0.272 mg L-1 min(-1), respectively). The photodegradation rate was higher in weak acidic than in high acidic and alkaline conditions. The presence of CO32- ions increased the photodegradation rate while Cl-, SO42- and NO3- decreased the reaction rate. The rate of photodegradation of BY28 was measured using UV-Vis spectroscopy

INTELLIGENT SYSTEMS FOR DECISION-MAKING SUPPORT BASED ON BCM APPROACH

This paper represents research of several years which is conducted at the Centre for Quality at The faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Podgorica. The main objective was to obtain performances improvement measures for business processes by gathering various approaches and techniques and by underlying importance of integrated approach. This paper gives completely new approach in management systems which aim to provide business continuity according to previous defined goals. Following this, it has been created a system for risks prediction and elimination that could endanger organization functionality and could also deteriorate its performances. In this vein, a base for functioning of intelligent decision-making support system is provided. Hence, we accomplished preconditions for organizational performances improvement and knowledge acquisition concerning areas that must be under special treatment in order to enhance firm performance level

DEFINING PREVENTIVE ACTION FOR IMPROVEMENT BUSINESS PROCESS PERFORMANCES BY USING EXPERT SYSTEM

    No full text
This paper present own approach for improvement business process performances through improvement in area of quality management system by using expert system. In that way it is defining own approach of analogy between quality management system and human body in part of unwilling function. It was used a global approach for looking for arise of nonconformity or anomalies in quality management system. On identified places it was defined preventive action for improvement. Like the support it was realized an expert system which in the exit, depend of input data, give set of measurement for improvement

MODELS FOR QUALITY SYSTEM AND BUSINESS EXCELLENCE IMPLEMENTATION IN HIGHER EDUCATION

This paper presents the experience of the authors, which was acquired during the preparation and initial steps in the project implementation of the quality system at the University of Montenegro. The paper points out some models and distinguishes one, in our opinion, which is based on detailed analysis, the optimal model for the establishment of quality in higher education and excellence in higher education. Also, the paper was presented and the structure and basic for referential which can make implementation of a high quality in the institution

    QUANTIFICATION OF ENVIRONMENTAL ASPECTS

    No full text
Aspects of environment represent a complex field and also one of the most demanding articles of standard considering that efficiency of environmental protection management depends exactly on substantial and fundamental respect of this request. The contribution of this paper is directed towards environmental aspects quantification phase where new method based on neural network was initiated. The method should provide sufficient objectiveness and accuracy in assessment of environmental impacts for all types of organization and it is based upon the specificity of available mathematical models used by certified organizations in SCG

Factors Influence Organizational Behavior and Organizational Structure of the Productivity of Employees in the Company Kras

The productivity of employees is conditioned largely by organizational climate, satisfaction and motivation, as well as organizational learning and knowledge management. Factors of organizational behavior, significantly affect the attainment of both individual, and organizational goals. Selection of appropriate organizational structure, which has no rigid hierarchical levels and that allows work in the teams and formal and informal groups, has a significant impact on satisfaction and motivation of employees, their productivity and thus on the competitiveness of the organization

The paper is result of studies conducted at the Center for Quality-Faculty of Mechanical Engineering-Podgorica and it specifically includes a detailed study and analysis of literature sources concerning innovation, quality management systems, total quality management-(TQM). The main objective of this paper is to analyze the current research in the previously mentioned subject areas and to come to certain conclusions that would relate to the specific characteristics, trends and connections in the areas under consideration. The goal is to create a basis for further exploration and definition of hypothesis-based experiments that will be conducted in certified Montenegrin companies. Accordingly, this paper is the first hat analyses literature sources about opportunities and benefits of QMS and TQM and development of innovation performance

QMS CONCEPT ON THE BASE OF PROCESS APROACH

For a long time, issue of Management for the Process network occupies attention of research teams consisted of scientist and their assistants from "Center for Quality" of the Mechanical Engineering in Podgorica. Research of Process approach commenced on issues of automation information systems implementation in process management, and they have become especially actual when ISO 9000:2000 standards appeared and QMS concept. This work analyzes possibilities for improvement of quality process through the process network or should we say through definition of efficient process architecture using modified BSP method and HIPO+P method. Using already published approaches of the TQM as well as our own research the relation matrix has been defined the matrix of goal structure of process structure of team structure and of quality process structure that shows that concepts of improvement and management of processes are hard to set apart and that any business process can be improved through by management of those who implement them, there for by the owners of process
